Do I need to supply the tiles, or do you source them?
We are happy to work with customer-supplied tiles. However, we also have excellent relationships with UK tile suppliers and can source trade-quality materials, often at competitive rates, ensuring suitability for the intended application.
How do you prevent tiles from cracking or moving after installation?
Prevention starts with proper preparation. We ensure the subfloor is structurally sound, level, and that we use the correct flexible adhesives and decoupling membranes (where necessary) to protect against any structural movement.
How long after tiling can I use my new bathroom/kitchen floor?
Most modern adhesives and grouts require at least 24 hours before being subjected to light foot traffic. Full curing and exposure to water (like in a shower) usually requires 48 to 72 hours. We advise the specific curing time upon completion.
Is your tiling work guaranteed against leaks in wet rooms?
Yes. When we install a wet room, we use a certified, multi-layer tanking system that is guaranteed to be waterproof. This forms part of our overall workmanship guarantee, giving you complete confidence.
Can you tile over existing tiles?
In some cases, yes, provided the existing tiles are firmly secured, level, and the new adhesive can bond effectively. However, for a long-term, superior finish, we generally recommend removing the old tiles and ensuring a clean, prepared substrate.
